Allen is Katherine’s co-founder and offered a valuable perspective as the only male interviewee in our study. Despite holding the exact same role at their company, his experience as a founder differed from Katherine’s due to his gender. His interview provided an important baseline and enabled us to explore differences across multiple stakeholders.
